The first floor focal point is the grand stairway. On this floor is the main dining room, bar and kitchen. In the warmer months there is access to sidewalk seating through a series of doors along the storefront.

That same corner, revolving door installed. To the right is the first in a series of doors that open to sidewalk seating.

Almost complete, still missing the host station located near the telephone, a couple of windows in the side lite next to the revolving door and the last coat of paint. Along the wall, towards the lower left-hand of the photo is the start of booths for bar patrons while they wait for their table.

This is where the booths will be located a couple of months before they were installed. The unpainted boarded area above and to the right is an opening for a bank of window. All the riveted beams will be fire rocked and all wood sprayed with fire retardant.

The first floor just just after rock. For orientation, the revolving door is located to the right, the area for booths to the left and above that the bank of windows, frames and glass installed.

On a platform of tongue and groove oak, powder-coated, perimeter railing with brackets to support a drink rail, the booths await their first customers to break-in the cranberry red Naugahyde. The floor is tiled in octagonal tile in shades of white, grey, and poweder yellow.

Across from the booths and under the main staircase to the second floor is the bar.

Support columns forming equal divisions are built into the finish of the bar die. It still missing its tops and foot-rest, snaking up from the basement and indicating the tap location a beer glycol line rests and reminds me to inform you that there is no exposed plumbing or electic in this bar.

The tops, foot-rail, and trim installed, about the only think yet missing is the backbar and nose on the top.
