Vanity: gallery 2 Where people spend their time, they spend their money. One of those being in the bath. Instead of his and her sink, now it's I got mine and you got yours.
Master bath with a shower to the left. The bowl show the trend here towards turn of the century farmer bowl look. Makes you want to pick it up and throw the water out the window like our grandparents did.
The tub is between the two vanity bases and there is an area to towel-off... Looking throught the window you can see the neighbor has a perfect view.
I like the way this sink follows the wall. The sink gets logically centered and then drawer bases where they fit. On the left end I returned the base into the wall so that the top didn't die into the wall at a 45, but at a 90. In the mirror you can see the other vanity and my legs.
The tile pattern worked out well!
The opposite vanity. They can look at each other while they brush their teeth.
There is a question here whether to put each drawer bank to the middle or the ends. When a vanity base is next to the wall the minimum cabinet size I like to draw is 30", anything less than that and you are tight to the wall trying to use the sink. You need drawers to put on makeup. The drawers are to the center.
The guest bath. This was just off the laundry room and they need linen storage. Note that the linen cabinet is deeper than the vanity base. This was so that the top could die into the linen cabinet and not cause any problems while opening the linen cabinet doors.
White washed cabinets. In order to get drawers I made the base to the right less than 30". I could do this because you are not standing next to a wall. The other sink base I could have centered but if each sink is used at once it is tight. This solution worked best.
There isn't anything new here to explain with the exception of the drawer bank. Each side has a small top drawer, then a larger center drawer and finally a single large base drawer.
